Rev Professor Sir Lloyd Geering, ONZ, GNZM, CBE is Emeritus Professor of Religious Studies at
Sir Lloyd was tried for heresy by the New Zealand Presbyterian Church in the 1960s. He regularly lectures at St Andrew’s Trust for the Study of Religion and Society, and is a prolific author with his latest book, Coming back to earth, published in 2009 by Polebridge Press.
